The Iceland men's national football team is the national men's football team of Iceland and is controlled by the Football Association of Iceland. While historically one of Europe's minnows, Iceland have enjoyed more success since the end of the 20th century. In the qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Iceland reached the play-offs before losing to Croatia. Iceland reached its first major tournament, UEFA Euro 2016, after a qualification campaign which included home and away wins over the Netherlands.

How they qualified for EURO 2016:

<\/STRONG>Six wins from their previous seven games proved to be a more than solid foundation and a further Group A point, secured against Kazakhstan in Reykjavik, got Iceland over the line. Therefore, Iceland became the smallest nation to qualify for the finals of the European Championship.<\/P>","9FD5B574D8E8CE5C88A3F16796B0AB69":"Iceland","EC0A9CD40A79F4A7":"1","C3DE130B7D4AB7DB":"Iceland","577B068F2C47D74D":"26.00","8CE97C5D66CE80B1AC3199ACA41392EF":"","FEE968D9DBFC6146299A2FFCF2C397DB":"Iceland","B5EB80A22A57B91E":"ksi@ksi.is","1F226704445BE844DD86978D1C491CD0":"1973-3-6","63AFECC3B4146719A7C304785A3E3995":"Laugardal Swann Stadium","0AF0E16F0C83F152F5BEC0064DED5CF2":"Vikingur Reykjavik,IA Akranes","2B86CD8155EF4869BD305F9EC6E55A2D":"9,500","99076DE7EF4979F536E5BDD3036F7064":"","3A5BA2FF10D30F08":"http:\/\/www.ksi.is","D39E7C23A464F86D":"1","12F030D6FCEE9D12":"471","14CEFA5CBB9C80784CE9143AE9461C0C":"Iceland","A667671DDBFFBFB2FA72AB297542675213E7B0BF26878540":"1","1EC75259044B48303E2B2218490C3924":"Vikingur Reykjavik","6C2FDBC58B5FC31747574B8DEC532270":"The Football Association of Iceland,Laugardal,REYKJAVIK - 104","699012D84534D371":"Arnar Bergmann Gunnlaugsson","4873D80D884C1965174890917813A0BA":"76kg","CB6C8C34A68D7715A055D664FDADB411":"167","6267E3B72302FBDE":"Reykjavik","BF30D6091E95FD5C1F450BE35912A445":"2025-1-15","736ECA69114CA0121CDC75D8A7FDA057F4F7013DE66F87F8":"1947","6BCA2519085BAC06":"
