Danny Dichio is a player who has been there and done it all before.

After signing from Millwall for £160,000 he immediately went about outlining his ambitions for the season - promotion.

After helping West Brom and Sunderland to the Premiership he's hoping to complete the hat trick with Preston.

The 30-year-old started his career with QPR after coming through the ranks but four years and 87 appearances later he took advantage of the newly introduced Bosman ruling and signed for Sampdoria on a free transfer.

Sunderland opted to bring the big man back to England and he scored 11 goals in 21 league starts helping the Black Cats win promotion to the Premier League before having the same impact at West Brom.

Spells at Derby and Millwall followed before Dichio opted to make another move up North.

He scored his first goal in the League Cup defeat at home to Barnsley, in August, when he opened the scoring on 77 minutes before North End eventually lost out on penalties.

22 games without scoring followed before Diche netted both goals in the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, in the FA Cup Fourth Round replay much to the delight on his team mates and fans who were desperate for the big man to score.

He may have finished the season without a goal in the league but his presence and experience was key to the season's success as he made 40 appearances.
","C6E00DEB351621C4":"21803","92DC52DD0D4041625C68AA7C024C7F67":"USA","42B1B76A697DFC47":"","0357E9507AE48270":"1","50DCDC085A8BF7E4518E56CD69FC7EB2":"7,231","B52BFE7EA0432304":"","D5AF1249DEAE15446FB07F95BE07BAC61FCF1CF21901A599":"1","76E4AF6D9D682B9E33C3CEBB0A099E01":"70kg","E4FAE8AE56FCFFF1DC7AFC02ACE5DEE8":"59","3D9B31C67DFDD0FC8C73053EF2ADBD66":"","93E993D54869F4B8":"403","729294714CECF588":"","6A881B134CC16CFA535D54FE36142BBC":"Detroit City","686A4807662B110DEF267ED94EA5AF8C":"England","761C3792446BE5ED2EFE4C1CAFC95D68":"1974-10-19","7B11A9E5D141DF5785F9EF965C7D588D":"Sacramento Republic FC","89F75C88F810F7B54F1BC067C7848CF5":"Keyworth Stadium","00E1A43DD023DEC2DFC0A799EF9025A4":"","4268BF6963F167300062241A864D4973":"3201 Roosevelt St, Hamtramck, MI 48212","0C852134AA40B2DD":"1","DD8BEAF452454A6D0A12C3D91CB3F716":"
