Sydney United 58 Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club based in Edensor Park, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. The club was formed as Sydney Croatia in 1958, by Croatian Australians in the area, but it was renamed in 1993 as Sydney United after having the name Sydney CSC for a season.<\/P>
Sydney United currently compete in the National Premier Leagues New South Wales, hosting matches at the Sydney United Sports Centre in Edensor Park. United are a sister club of the Melbourne Knights, a Croatian club in the NPL Victoria.<\/P>

A goalkeeper of towering height and equal athleticism, Kalac is nicknamed \u63ddpider?for the gangling arms and legs that help him stop the shots other goalkeepers cannot reach. His height frustrates opposing attackers, as crosses and corners are easily gobbled up. Came to the attention of Perugia with outstanding games in the UEFA Cup for Roda JC and signed to play in the Serie A. After a frustrating start is now a permanent fixture in the first team, although Perugia was relegated to the Serie B for the 2004\/05 season. After several frustrating attempts to leave, Perugia's financial troubles saw him finally secure a move to none other than Italian giant AC Milan.
