Omilos Filathlon Irakleiou 1925, is a Greek association football club based in Heraklion, on the island of Crete. It is a part of the OFI multi sports club. Outside Greece, the club is generally known as OFI Crete, however, the name Crete is not actually part of the club's official title. The team competes in the Super League, the top division of the Greek football league system, and hosts home games at the Theodoros Vardinogiannis Stadium.

OFI is the Cretan club with the most appearances in the Greek first division. A tall, muscular defender whose towering performances in the Greek rearguard earned him a place in the UEFA EURO 2004? All-Star Team, Traianos Dellas has never fully enhanced that reputation at club level, suffering from a catalogue of injury problems.

Born in northern Greece, played for Panserraikos FC and Aris Thessaloniki FC before relegation with latter prompted a move to England, where he spent two seasons in the second tier with Sheffield United FC.

Joined AEK Athens FC in 1999, winning Greek Cup in 2000 – his only major club honour.

Three-year, injury-stricken spell at AS Roma preceded by Serie A bedding-in season at AC Perugia.

Became a favourite of Greece coach Otto Rehhagel in UEFA EURO 2004? qualifying campaign and started all six matches in Portugal, scoring silver goal winner against Czech Republic in semi-final.

Returned to AEK in 2005; three UEFA Champions League appearances in 2006\/07 to add to seven made with Roma.
