Jess Thorup is a former Danish professional football forward, who played for the two Danish Superliga sides OB and Esbjerg fB. He also played for the German club KFC Uerdingen 05, the Austrian club FC Wacker Tirol and the Norwegian club HamKam.

He was head coach of Esbjerg fB starting with the resignation of Ove Pedersen on 14 March 2011.
